Rubia’s Fine Mexican Dining in Aztec

Service was vary good, food was delicious, Friday wait time is long, however worth the wait.

Rubia's never disappoints. Food and atmosphere is great! The staff is awesome, even on a busy night!

Wonderful Mexican food!!! We were traveling through today, and the owners were open for Curb Side pick-up with all the COVID-19 protection. Thank-you for your hospitality, and next time we are in town we will make sure to stop in again for another great meal.

This place is great! Awesome food and good service! Stopped here with a large group after camping in CO and it was great to get a good meal.

We were very disappointed, we paid $15 for a "carne asada" plate, we got a tiny piece of steak, a spoon of rice, and a table spoon of salad. I wish I was joking! They took forever to bring the food, and they took it back because the meat was bloody. Long story short, killed my appetite, I took it to go. Don't recommend!

Our Waitress (Kaytland) made our visit Perfect, she was a great server and very attentive to our needs.

I had the steak ranchera. It's a steak with enchiladas and two sides, it also comes with a salad. Everything was amazingly good and we ate in the patio which made it even better.

We were traveling thru on the way home. Excellent food and the hospitality was exceptional!!!! Thank you for being so gracious. Next time in Aztec we will never eat anywhere else.

Great south west experience

The food was good. I would have liked a little more heat in the green chili. Our waitress was exceptional. She was attentive to our needs without being overbearing. The price was reasonable.

Good food and great people

Always a good place to eat. Chips and Salsa is a must. But they're full size Chef Salad with added chicken is Good! It's Big. Now I'm a 6'4", 315lbs man and I was the last one in my group to finish my meal. Who knew a Mexican restaurant has a Good chef salad?🤔 It's going to be "my usual" order from now on. Thanks you guys! Keep it up.**Oh yes!! See the bowl? That's a mixing bowl it's in! That's how Big it is! 😄

Food is great and delicious 😋

Didn't like the coating on chicken strips and chicken was dry. Last time I had chicken fried. steak. It had same coating. Their salads are great.

The food is as good as any New Mexican restaurant in the state and the outdoor patio is fantastic during warmer months.

Wonderful service! Food is great. The menu changed a bit and I'm sad a few things are different but I'll still be coming back.

We had came in with a group of 20+ people and they whole team was just amazing. They took all our orders brought them out in a timely manner and not to mention just how genuinely nice they were. The food was really good. I definitely recommend a visit here

Good food priced right. Margaritas are wine based as this location does not have a liquor license. We sat at the bar and our lady bartender was 5 star excellent. Would go there again.

So disappointed in this place. Used to be really good. Ordered breakfast this morning and got exactly what I didn't ask for. During this stay at home order you'd think these local restaurants would be on top of it. They surely aren't busy.

Our server James was amazing. Extremely helpful, very professional, knew everything on the menu to help us decide on what to eat. We have been coming to Rubios for the last 2 years and every time we do we are treated like friends. Tonight was definitely one of the best experiences we have ever had with James as our server.

Just so happen I was in Aztec and gave it a try. Was not disappointed very excellent food.

Pretty sure everything we ordered came straight from the freezer and into the fryer. Would guess the sauces are canned also. The chips and salsa were great. Can’t figure out why they wouldn’t make their own taco shells as well.

Was very clean and nice staff. One question that we had was why don't they have rice and beans on there combination plates. The things in life that make you go hmmm...
